Mostly, I just feel bad for everyone who isn't married to this boy.
This wall is why. I came home from work on Saturday morning to this beautiful, perfect, chevron wall of nursery happiness. We are slightly obsessed with patterned walls lately... obviously
Just in case any of you are interested how he created this masterpiece... here's how he did it. First, he painted the wall white, then using an old school projector he projected the pattern on the wall. He used a laser leveler thingy to make sure it was all symmetrical and perfect. Next, he sealed the tape with the white paint to prevent bleeding. Then, because he is a perfectionist he used a razor and a straight edge to make the points perfect, and then he painted the grey stripes. It took him my whole night shift! I came home at 7:30 and he was just finishing up. Gosh, I hope this baby gets his drive and determination. I also hope one day she loves staring at this wall as much as I do (okay, okay I know she won't actually care we will move out of here by the time she is three). More nursery pics to come later...after I buy and sew(or my mom sews) a whole bunch of cute baby stuff.

Really cute! Tell Todd he can come paint my nursery now. We just have solid colors on the baby's walls haha.
ReplyDeleteLove it! He did such a PERFECT job!
ReplyDeleteI love it!!!! My husband is so boring when it comes to paint. He likes plain white or off white so no cute designs in our nursery.
ReplyDeleteIN LOVE! The projector idea is genius!! I need to see more of your adorable house one of these days! You guys are amazing.
